WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GENERAL VOLUNTEER AND A LEGATEE?

A General Volunteer helps with tasks such as event support, office work, fundraising, and transportation, but does not work directly with beneficiaries.

A Legatee, on the other hand, is assigned to veterans' families and provides one-on-one emotional and social support.

DO I NEED SPECIFIC SKILLS TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

No specific skills are required. All you need is a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and a desire to give back. We’ll provide any necessary training for the tasks you’ll be helping with.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT IF I WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

The time commitment is flexible and depends on the events or tasks at hand. You can choose to help out regularly or on a more occasional basis, depending on your availability.

CAN I VOLUNTEER IF I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB?
