WHAT TO EXPECT?
- We will take the time to get to know each other and connect, whilst Rick shares some of the Bushcraft and Survival Skills he learnt during his time with the Military and as survival instructor.
- These skills include an introduction to:Reading the natural environment and learning about the priorities of survival Water collection, filtration and sterilisation Improvised shelter building Creating fire without modern tools such as matches and lighters What we can and can’t trap, harvest and eat when out bush Implementing rescue plans Ropes, knots and lashings.
- There will also be camp fire damper, billy tea provided.
- The training will be held at The Northern Outlook in Redlynch Valley where we can immerse ourselves in learning surrounded by dense rainforest and running creeks!
Suitable for children aged 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver who also needs to purchase a ticket.
